The All-American torch

Gear Role: Backup/Power Flashlight Model: surefire 6P & Malkoff M60 Back in the day, the sight of a smoky Maglight beam cutting through the night sky was just the coolest thing ever. It’s good fun to revisit quality lights, and vital as well since human capability becomes severely limited in dark environments. While out on a trail, jogging through a city or clearing a room. Your car breaks down. You need to navigate a smoke-filled stairwell. Start carrying a good LED and you’ll be ready to conquer all sorts of darkened challenges. Pros: surefire rugged quality, Malkoff-powered lumen output, good investment value, self-defense capabilities, cold weather performance Cons: Expensive batteries, a bit heavy to EDC, 0 flashlight Price: + US ( shipping) Vendor: batteryjunction.com and Malkoff Devices LINKS: surefire: www.surefire.com Malkoff Devices: tinyurl.com CPF: www.candlepowerforums.com Battery Chart: tinyurl.com batteryjunction.com: tinyurl.com

That’s what happens when you lack education– Cant even understand simple words and education. second of all, i own a car.

Last of all, people who escalate their tone and throw random junk phrases out of topic clearly shows that what was said is true and thus, they’ve resulted to hostility towards the opposite side. Now that’s psychology and interpersonal interaction for you.

You even fail to justify the price comparison why some cheaply made crap are @ sold higher than quality stuff.

  • jonen9494 says:

Seriosly, a CR123 battery is 10$ in Norway!!!!!

So.. :S This will be VERY expensive to operate over here..

  • nojihadforu says:

Thats insane. How much would an 18650 lithium ion cost over there? I would recommend you you get the md2 with high/low switch ring and m60ll from malkoff because it has over 8 hours of regulated runtime at 80 lumens plus a low mode of about 10 lumens for even longer runtime. That way you won’t be needing to change the batteries as often.

  • nojihadforu says:

The reason I go with malkoff is not because it’s made in usa. It’s because malkoff products have excellent performance. It’s just a bonus that they make their products in usa and I hope they continue to make their products in usa.

  • nojihadforu says:

Get the tk40 you will be much happier! It’s a good value and the m6 is overpriced and doesn’t have the battery life or the durability of an led.

  • jonen9494 says:

    CR123

  • nojihadforu says:

    What kind of batteries?

  • jonen9494 says:

Thanks for all the good answer!

I have a site/guy in norway that imports malkoffs, but he seems to have gone on a loooong holiday or something.. :/

    Anyways, I am thinking a Surefire 6P Defender with a M60 MC-E 500lumen.

Short batterylife, but I have rechargeble batteries.

  • gvsfgdf says:

surefire underrates their lumens so 500 SUREFIRE lumens would be around 800 REAL lumens or Chinese lumens… m6 is brighter even though the tk40 claims to be brighter

You’re wrong, cainemasion125. If you’re referring to american cars, then you’ve got everything on the opposite. All of american cars have been outsourced a long time ago. cheaply made stuff have poor quality and control. toyota has all their cars made in america and look how successful that company is.

    Ourtsourcing = cheap

Look at duralast belts for cars and compare that with gates or goodyear; both american made products. you’ll see the difference in quality.

    quit protecting capitalists

  • Zeron18 says:

it’s a smooth reflector. does it means that there will be more throw than flood? but why cool white?
Malkoff does make the finest drop-ins for surefire

  • cainemansion125 says:

I can see how stupid a person you are with no global vision. Firstly, nobody is talking about CARS here, you dumb. Toyota don’t make ALL cars in America, (e.g. Prius, Yaris & Yaris Hatchback). Secondly, not ALL cheaply made products have poor quality, factors such as labour, materials, manufacture place and marketing made up the price. If you have never been to other places around the world, please don’t speak or at least get an education.

  • Zeron18 says:

look at most the stuff on your video…made from their originated countries.

look at nike, wedding gowns, tux, and other major brand garments…cheap production at sweatshops in developing countries. cheap labor+material = sold @ high prices. quality not good too. Justify that into your price comparison.

second of all, the way you speak of your narrow-mindedness utters the words of what ]capitalists would say–which in fact shapes society for themselves. You already bought into their ideals.

  • cainemansion125 says:

Again! You are just speaking nonsense. Please don’t waste my time. Nobody is talking about Nike or capitalists. What the fuck are you on about. All Toyota cars are made in America!!!! Do you even own a car? You are not only born without intelligence but also poor. Get lost, loser.

This is a review of a specific light combination, that has performed well and been a top setup on CandlePowerForums for a long time. A great value at $60 + $60 if you ask me.

I did mention the Fenix, NiteCore etc. lights that I own, all made by different companies.

I title my videos in such a way that they aren’t just “SureFire 6P Malkoff review” etc. This one happened to have a US-made body and emitter. The title is fitting.

Take the overt hostility down a notch please. Be well.

  • cainemansion125 says:

Made by Americans = more expensive. You are just dumb, get ripped off by the locals. Americans products don’t have better quality. It is the labour that raises the price. Please go back to school and get an education, you are in a very small world.

  • HelmerandRawlins says:

Haven’t seen too many Pelicans in person, I’ll be sure to check that one out, thanks!

  • c9ari says:

You can’t have to many Flash lights. I have a G2 LED and it goes every where with me. Have you seen the Pelican 8060?

  • HelmerandRawlins says:

It’s the standard model, the model M60, not any of the L or W models. I have the link to it in the sidebar. Thanks!

  • standard1664 says:

Which M60 drop in did you get exactly?
